We can educate your workforce on just about any construction technology workflow. From conceptual design to final installations, we can help you get up to speed on the latest trends in the industry. Flow MEP is well-versed in custom training in both train-the-student or train-the-trainer formats.
Utilizing Autodesk AutoCAD® software, we can design and layout your custom parts, assemblies, or your entire building to assist in production. These parts can be exported to machinery for precision cutting or layout.
Our team is compiled of tradesmen that have extensive backgrounds in real world installations. We can create our designs to the highest level of detail (LOD) knowing the optimal way of routing per codes and best practices. We employ a complete Autodesk Revit® design-to-fabrication workflow to take the project straight from engineering to built on site!
Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design Construction (VDC) processes are the foundation of most modern day construction workflows. Often times the ‘I’ in BIM is forgotten but really is the most integral part. We can embed your models with accurate, intelligent, high-LOD components. This can lead to very detailed bill of materials (BOM) and better facilities management data for your project.
Coordinating a 3D model is only the first step, and unfortunately the last step for many contractors. You should not stop there! Take your coordinated models to the next level by generating detailed shop drawings, fabrication spools, and skids. This results in accurate off-site procurement and pre-fabrication that keeps your project schedule on track!
Flow MEP can audit your current processes. We then make recommendations, implement new hardware and software, and hold custom training sessions for your company's new workflow.
What good is spending money on BIM coordination and shop drawings if archaic methods of installation are used? Flow MEP utilizes robotic total station (RTS) layout to install your project to the tightest accuracy. Combining Autodesk Point Layout® and our RTS unit, we can layout your walls, concrete, anchors, duct & piping exactly where they were intended to be!
We can capture your existing space or entire building with incredible precision and visual quality! Using our 3D laser scanning capabilities, we can bring your actual building back into our virtual model for off-site coordination and fabrication. This will lead to minimal downtime of your facility when it counts the most!
Our 3D camera captures 2D photography and 3D data from job sites, and automatically stitches them into a complete, immersive 3D model of a real-world job site. Take this 3D model and annotate, share, and export the point cloud to Autodesk ReCap® or Revit®. You can also share the virtual tour to any computer, mobile device, or website.
Augmented Reality (AR) is a great visualization and communication tool for both the classroom and the jobsite. Using a mix of the latest hardware and software, we can teach you how to bring your own designs to life! You can choose whether you want to immerse yourself in a hologram of a jobsite or bring a 2D flat drawing to lift off the page in 3D.
Virtual Reality (VR) will fully immerse you in a 1:1 scale version of your model. Give your students the presence of being on a jobsite or in a situation not normally possible in the classroom. Give your foreman a virtual walkthrough of their jobsite or mechanical room before it is ever constructed. We can help teach you how!
Virtual Machines (VM's) are quickly becoming one of the most cost effective methods of deploying advanced training and BIM workflows. This used to require a computer that cost a few thousand dollars. Now you can you use your existing lower-end computers to remote control a virtual machine for a smooth high-performance 3D experience!
